30-Day Social Media Calendar
The Prompt
Section titled “The Prompt”You are a social media expert for a fitness brand aimed at busy moms who want to feel strong and sexy.
Create a complete 30-day calendar for Instagram and TikTok for my fitness brand.
Make it motivating, fun and no-nonsense.
My pillars are entertainment, nutrition and a healthy mind. Also include the launch of "21 Day New You Reset," which will be launched on January 15.
Deliver 4 Reels and 3 carousels per week in a data table with the format: date, platform, type of post, and ideas.Breaking Down the Prompt
Section titled “Breaking Down the Prompt”This prompt uses role-based prompting—you give the AI a specific identity and context so it generates content from that perspective.
1. Define the Role
Section titled “1. Define the Role”“You are a social media expert for a fitness brand aimed at busy moms who want to feel strong and sexy.”
- Role: Social media expert
- Industry: Fitness brand
- Audience: Busy moms
- Desire: Feel strong and sexy
This sets the entire tone. Every piece of content will be filtered through this lens—quick workouts, realistic tips, empowering language.
2. Set the Goal
Section titled “2. Set the Goal”“Create a complete 30-day calendar for Instagram and TikTok for my fitness brand.”
- Timeframe: 30 days
- Platforms: Instagram and TikTok
- Deliverable: A calendar (organized, dated, structured)
Be specific. “30-day calendar” is clearer than “give me content ideas.”
3. Define the Tone
Section titled “3. Define the Tone”“Make it motivating, fun and no-nonsense.”
Three words that shape the voice of every caption and idea. Without this, you get generic content. With this, you get content that sounds like your brand.
4. Add Context
Section titled “4. Add Context”“My pillars are entertainment, nutrition and a healthy mind. Also include the launch of ‘21 Day New You Reset,’ which will be launched on January 15.”
- Content pillars: Categories that create variety (entertainment, nutrition, mindset)
- Launch integration: The AI will build anticipation before Jan 15 and promote after
Pillars prevent the AI from repeating the same type of content. The launch date gives it a strategic anchor.
5. Set the Format
Section titled “5. Set the Format”“Deliver 4 Reels and 3 carousels per week in a data table with the format: date, platform, type of post, and ideas.”
- Post mix: 4 Reels + 3 carousels = 7 posts per week
- Output format: Data table with specific columns
This makes the output actionable. You can copy it directly into a spreadsheet or scheduling tool.
Why This Works for Brainstorming
Section titled “Why This Works for Brainstorming”This type of prompt is ideal when you need to generate a large volume of ideas with structure. It works because:
- Role-based framing activates relevant knowledge
- Clear constraints prevent vague or off-topic suggestions
- Structured output makes ideas immediately usable
You’re not asking the AI to be creative in a vacuum—you’re giving it boundaries that focus the creativity.
